Genesis Local exists to help neighbors find real local producers. The people doing the growing, baking, raising, beekeeping, and craft work should not have to pay to be seen, trusted, corrected, or reviewed.
What we will not do
- No paid ranking.
- No ads on the trust platform.
- No premium producer tiers.
- No charging to claim, clean up, or fix a profile.
- No selling private contact data or customer relationships.
The line
If something would make a farmer, baker, grower, rancher, beekeeper, craftsperson, or neighbor wonder whether Genesis Local can still be trusted, it does not belong on the core platform.
Starter profiles have their own plain-language policy for source transparency, owner edits, removal, and opt-out.
